Detailed Solution

In 1911, 67 per cent of the large industries were located in Bengal and Bombay. The world witnessed a Global War that is World War 1(1914-1918) between countries. England was a part of the countries leading the war. Thus, England required all the products which were needed for the army. So when every industry looked upon that, Manchester imports to India gradually declined. Therefore, Indian industries became prominent. They produced more goods because it was also the time when the Indian National Independence movement was at its pinnacle stage. So production boomed and later Britain depended on Indian industries for the goods as well to meet the required goods for the army like clothes and jute bags.
