Here, it is given that the population of the town in 2013, was recorded as 648453 and in 2012, population of the town was 429315 and hence, we need to determine the increase in population 2013 than 2012. So, we need to find how much 648453 is more than 429315. It means we have to subtract both the population to get the increase in population.
So, let us subtract 429315 from 648453.
Now, as both numbers have 5 digits, it means we have to write the numbers in following way:
