Given,
Total number of hens=50 (heads of hens)
Total number of goats= 45 (heads of goats)
Total number of camels =8 (heads of camels)
Total number of keepers = x (say) (heads of keepers)
So, total number of heads
=

50 + 45 +

8 + x

= 103 + x

Here, hens has 2 legs, goats and camels has 4 legs while keepers has 2 legs. Thus, total legs

= 50 \times 2 + 45 \times 4 + 8 \times 4 + 2 \times x

= 100 + 180 + 32 + 2 x

= 312 + 2 x

Now, total feet = 224 + total legs

.

Thus,

312 + 2 x = (103 + x) + 224

103 + x = 312 + 2 x - 224

x = 15

Hence, number of keepers = 15
Option 1 is correct.
