Detailed Solution

n(P)=25%,n(C)=15%,nPCCC=65%,n(PC)=2000

Since nPCCC=65%n(PC)C=65%n(PC)=35%

Now n(PC)=n(P)+n(C)n(PC)35=25+15n(PC)n(PC)=4035=5

Thus n(PC)=5%,  But n(PC)=2000

 5% of the total = 2000 Total number of families = =2000×1005=40000

Since n(PC)=35% and total number of families =40,000 and n(PC)=5%

 (1), (2) and (3) are correct.
