Given that,
In class A,
Number of students passed in first class = 20 and total number of students = 25.
In class B,
Number of students passed in first class = 24 and total number of students = 30.
Then,
The fraction of students passed in class A,

= \frac{20}{25}

= \frac{4}{5}

and the fraction of students passed in class B,

= \frac{24}{30}

= \frac{4}{5}

Since the denominator of both the fractions is the same therefore, they can be compared by comparing the numerators directly. So,

4 = 4

\Rightarrow \frac{4}{5} = \frac{4}{5}

\Rightarrow \frac{20}{25} = \frac{24}{30}

Since both the fractions are equal therefore both classes A and B have the same fraction of students getting

or higher grades.
