Detailed Solution

Concept- To find the dividend with the help of numerical reasoning.
Dividend = Divisor x quotient remainder.
If we,
Divide 45 by the number 7.
Here, Dividend =45
Divisor =7
Quotient = 6
and the remainder =3
So, As we know relation between dividend , divisor , quotient and the remainder, given as
Dividend = divisor x quotient + remainder
Verify this by putting above values,
45=7(6)+3
45=45
So, by the above verification we know that,
5 (remainder) = divisor
And it is given that the remainder is 48.
Therefore, 5(48) =  divisor
5(48) = 240
Now, as the question says that divisor is 12 times quotient , i.e.,
12 (quotient) = 240
240 12 =20
Quotient=20
Now, we need to find the dividend,
Dividend = divisor x quotient remainder
= 240(20)+48
= 4800+48
= 4848
Hence, the correct answer is 4) 4848.
