Given,
Number of students present in hostel =75.
Number of students left if 15 students leave the hostel = 60.
Number of days food last for 75 students = 24.
Let the number of days food lasts for 60 students be x days.
Then,

Number of days	24	x
Number of men	75	60

We can clearly observe that, less the number of students, more will be the number of days for which food lasts.
Therefore, this is the case of inverse proportion.
As this is case of inverse proportion, therefore the product will remain constant throughout table that is,

24 × 75 = x × 60

Solving the equation,

60 x = 24 × 75 x = 24 × 75 60 x = 30

Hence, the food will last for 30 days if 15 students leave the hostel.
Therefore, option 4 is correct.
