Detailed Solution

Given
Diameter = 5 cm
r = radius = Diameter/2 = 2.5 cm          h= height of the cylinder = length of the cylinder
Question Image               Length of cylindrical pipe = 28 m = 2800 cm.           (since, 1 m = 100 cm)
Total radiating surface of pipe = Curved surface area + 2 × Area of circular crossection
=2πrh+2πr2=2πrh+r=2×227×2.52800+2.5
=44039.28 cm2
Hence, the area of radiating surface  =44039.28 cm2
Correct option is 4.
