Weight of any object of mass m on the surface of the earth is W=mg…(1)
Here acceleration due to gravity is g=GMR2…(2)
From equation (1) and (2),
That is W=GMmR2…(3)
Where G is universal gravitational constant, M and R is mass and radius of earth respectively.
If the radius is half of its original value and the mass become four times then the new weight of the mass become
 W'=G4MmR22
 W'=16×GMmR2
 W'=16 W
Therefore the mass of the object increased by 16 times.
