Detailed Solution

In a solution of salt and water if we want to add more salt it needs to be heated.
Solubility of any substance depends on temperature. When the temperature of the solution increases, the solubility also increases and vice versa. Therefore, when the saturation condition is reached, the solution is heated for more salt to get dissolved. A saturated solution is the solution in which no more solute can be dissolved.
