Given, in an isosceles triangle, the angles opposite to equal sides are equal and the vertex angle is two times of each base angle.
Let the base angle be x°.
So according to the question, the angles of the triangle are x°, x°, 2x°.
Sum of angles in a triangle is 180°.
So, x+x+2x=180.
4x = 180
x=1804
x = 45°
So the angles are 45°, 45°, 90°.
Therefore the vertex angle is 90°.
