Detailed Solution

In Andhra, the Swadeshi Movement was known as the Vandemataram Movement.
People all over India were enraged by the partition of Bengal. Indian nationals started the Vandemataram movement in 1906 to protest the partition of Bengal. The Moderates and Radicals of Congress were all against it. Large public gatherings and demonstrations were held, and new methods of mass protest were developed. The ensuing struggle was strongest in Bengal but also had echoes elsewhere. It was one of the most successful campaigns against British rule. Mahatma Gandhi considered Swadeshi to be the soul of Swaraj (self-rule).
