In basidiomycetes though sex organs are absent but sexual reproduction still occurs with the help of somatogamy, i.e., Fusion of two different strains of somatic hyphae. 
Asexual spore formation is also absent in basidiomycetes. Oomycetes and not basidiomycetes have cellulosic cell wall.
