In battle of Seringapatam, Tipu sultan was killed by britishers.
The Britishers defeated Tipu Sultan in 1799. The reason behind the battle of Seringapatam was Tipu Sultan, and the Britishers had a conflict of trade. When Tipu Sultan stopped the trade of cardamom and pepper with the Britishers and started trading with the French company and also stopped the local vendors from trading with the Britishers, which was a point of anger to Britishers and Britishers, found that they could not control tipu sultan hence in a battle of Seringapatam Britishers killed Tipu Sultan when he was defending his state in battle.
