In case of plane mirror, the image in the mirror is a virtual image, it cannot be obtained on the screen.
In the case of plane and convex mirrors, a virtual image is always formed. There are two kinds of images: real images and virtual images. Real images can be formed on a screen, but virtual images cannot be formed on a screen. Because the image formed is from light rays that do not meet but appear to meet when produced backwards, virtual images cannot be obtained on the screen.
