In China, elections are held every five years to elect members of the parliament, comprehended as the Quanguo Renmin Daibiao Dahui and named the National People Congress. The parliament consists of 3000 members elected from different regions of China. Not all members of the Chinese Parliament are elected by-elections. Some of the members are chosen by the Chinese military leaders as well. These members get the responsibility of appointing the President of the country. All members must be from the Communist Party of China or its eight affiliated political parties.
