Detailed Solution

In comparison to other ancients, Mohenjodaro has a whooping 700 wells.
Mohenjodaro is situated west of the Indus River, between the Indus and the Ghaggar-Hakra rivers, in the Larkana District of Sindh, Pakistan. The "first public water tank in the ancient world" is another name for the Mohenjo-Daro Great Bath. While bathing was permitted, religious rituals were conducted largely at the Great Bath. They might have used it for religious purposes since there is no sign of a temple. Because they were destitute or considered dirty, some people were not even allowed to enter the Great Bath. Mohenjodaro features a massive 700 wells compared to other ancient sites. The populace of Mohenjodaro mostly relied on the annual rains because the city had numerous wells. Wells were built using circular brick well designs around that time.
