Detailed Solution
Concept: Catla catla is the face confluent fish in compound fish husbandry. Composite fish husbandry is rehearsed to gain the maximum yield of fish from a lake or force where several species of fishes are grazed together in proper proportion in the same pond so that all the available ecological niches of the pond are exploited which leads to an increase in the product several times.
Compound fish husbandry is also known with the terms mixed husbandry, compound fish culture, or polyculture. In this practice, generally five or six different species of fishes are grown together that explore different food territories in the pond and they do n’t need to contend with each other for food coffers.
The food that's supplied to the pond is fully employed and in turn, the yield is increased.
Three types of indigenous species of fishes are used which act as face affluents, column affluents, and nethermost affluents. Besides these, some fantastic species of fishes are also used that include Common complaint, Grass complaint, tableware complaint, etc.
The fish Labeo rohita is fed from the middle subcaste of water so it's called amid-water confluent.
The fish Cirrhina mrigala fed on the bottom of the compound system so it's called a nethermost confluent.
The fish Hilsa is a sludge confluent because it fed different kinds of planktons using a sludge after grubbing the muddy bottom of the pond.
Hence, option 2 is the correct answer
