Detailed Solution

In Frédéric Sorrieu's first print, people marched by the Statue of Liberty.
French artist Frédéric Sorrieu created a set of four prints in 1848. His vision of a society made up of what he dubbed "democratic and social Republics" was brought to life in these four prints. The initial print showed a lengthy train of individuals from Europe and America marching together, regardless of gender, age, or class. They may be seen showing respect for the Statue of Liberty as they pass it. The Charter of the Rights of Man and the torch of Enlightenment are being held aloft by a female figure. The final shattered pieces of the symbols of absolutist institutions lie on New ground.
