Detailed Solution

In his prashasti, Harisena honors Samudragupta by saying A poet, great warrior, scholar, and philanthropist.
Harissa was a Sanskrit poet, panegyrist, and priest who lived in the fourth century. He created poetry in Kavya. He served as Samudra Gupta's court poet, the second and most well-known ruler of the Gupta kingdom. He did it with great bravery and military skill, extending his domain. He carried out Ashwamedha's sacrifice to enlarge his domain. His court poet, Harisena, wrote a eulogy for him, which is recorded on the Prayag prashasti or Allahabad pillar inscription. This panegyric inscription extols Samudra Gupta for his bravery and military prowess, political victories, and humanitarianism. He also makes him feel like the Gods. We can learn about Samudra Gupta's life and reign from this inscription.
