Detailed Solution

In the Two Treatises of Government, Locke sought to refute the divine and absolute rights of the monarch. Two treatises on government were political works published by John Locke in 1689. The first treaty was the (patriarchal) doctrine of the divine, and the second treaty was the absolute right of the monarch. In the context of the third estate, all the educated people believed that none of the groups or families in society should be privileged by birth and that the position of a person must depend on his merits. This idea was represented in John Locke's Two Treatises of Government.
