In India, agricultural labourer families make up almost 2 out of every five rural households. They all rely on the labour they perform to make a living in other people's fields. Many of them lack access to land, while others may only possess tiny parcels. This session explained that there are many small farmers like Sekar, many agricultural labourers like Thulasi, and a few large farmers like Ramalingam in the Kalpattu area.
