Detailed Solution

In India, Parliament is divided into two parts. That is known as the Chambers of Houses, which is segmented into the Lower Chamber and Upper Chamber. The Council of State, also known as Rajya Sabha, and the House of People, commonly known as Lok Sabha, are the two chambers of the parliament of India. The lower house of parliament, or Lok Sabha, is where members serve as the people's representatives and are chosen directly by them. Rajya Sabha, where members are chosen indirectly, is also known as the upper house.
