Detailed Solution

In many areas of the present day, Bihar and Jharkhand Chero chiefdoms had emerged by the twelfth century.
The Chero is a caste found in the Indian states of Bihar, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh. The community of the Chero people claims to have originally been tribal people. The Chero is essentially one of many tribal communities, such as the Bhar, Kol, and Pasi, that inhabit the southeastern corner of Uttar Pradesh. Raja Man Singh, one of Akbar's famous generals, attacked and defeated the Cheros in 1591. They occupied a large amount of booty, but this defeat did not completely subdue Cheros. Mughal forces under the rule of Aurangzeb captured many fortresses belonging to Chero and subjugated the tribe.
