In our society women are often blamed for giving birth to daughters. Is the opinion 'True' or 'False'?

Even though in Indian society, women are blamed for giving birth to daughters, in reality, genetics tells us that it is far from the truth.

For a child's sex determination, we need to look at the genetics or the genes that they inherit from their parents. A female gives an X chromosome whereas the male gives an X or a Y so the male gamete is the deciding factor for the child to be male or female. 

Hence, the opinion is False as they are accused falsely.
