Detailed Solution

In the Battle of Khanwa, Babur defeated Rana Sangha.
On March 16, 1527, the Battle of Khanwa took place close to the village of Khanwa in Rajasthan's Bharatpur district. Following the Battle of Panipat, it was fought between the armies of the first Mughal Emperor Babur and the Rajput armies commanded by Rana Sanga of Mewar. The battle for control of Northern India was waged between the Babur-led Timurid invasion armies and the Rana Sanga-led Rajput confederacy. Even though the Timurids prevailed at Panipat, the battle was a pivotal moment in Indian history at the time.
