Concept- To solve this question we are taking the help of arithmetic and simple basic mathematics
By using the basic formula, we can solve this
Number of boys is x, assumed
Then,

\frac{3}{4} x = 18

x = 18 \times \frac{4}{3}

x = 24

Now,
Let the total no. Students in class be y.
Then,

\frac{2}{3} y = 24

y = 24 \times \frac{3}{2}

y = 36

Now,
Number of girls in class is y-x.

y - x

36 - 24

= 12

Hence, the correct answer is option 2.
