For 1 kg mass $\begin{matrix} ↑ T \\ 1 k g \\ ↓ g \end{matrix}$ $↑ a \Rightarrow T - g = a$

For 2 kg mass $\begin{matrix} ↑ T \\ 2 k g \\ ↓ g \end{matrix}$ $↓ a \Rightarrow T - g = a$

Solving, we get $a = \frac{10}{3} m / s^{2}$

Force on 1 kg, $F_{1} = \frac{10}{3} N and on 2 kg, F_{2} = \frac{20}{3} N$

Hence, Statement I is correct while Statement II is incorrect.
