Snell’s Law states that in a given pair of media, the ratio of the sines of the angle of incidence θ1 and angle of refraction θ2 is equivalent to the ratio of refractive indices (n) of two media.
Given,
Angle of incidence, = 60°
Angle of refraction, = 45°
From the figure,  = sin i sin r  
                                 =sin 60° sin 45° 
                                        =32
