The coordinates of the point M = (3, -3)
In a two-dimensional graph, the ordinate and abscissa denote the vertical (y) axis and the horizontal (x) axis, respectively.
The ordinate of point L is 4.
The ordinate of point M is -3.
∴Difference=4− −3 =7.   Therefore, the difference in the ordinates of the points L and M is 7.
