Detailed Solution

In the First World War, two power blocs were Allied Powers and Central Powers.
From 1914 to 1918, during the First World War, Allied Powers and Central Powers were the two major power groups. The nations of the Allied Powers bloc included Russia, France, and Britain. The USA eventually joined this alliance of powers. Central powers like Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Ottoman Turkey opposed them. One thing to remember is that many of the empires in the Central Power bloc were ruled by monarchies. The First World War, in which many countries across the globe took part, is regarded as the first industrial war. The First Industrial War was so-called because so much contemporary weaponry was employed.
