  • Draw a line segment.
  • Take a point P as a centre and draw arcs on the line segment at A and B. 
  • Take the length of more than half of the line segment AB and cut the arcs by taking A and B as a centre.
  • The point of intersection of the arcs is point D from which the perpendicular can be drawn to the point P.
  • Line CL is a perpendicular bisector to AB. 
  • Hence, point P is the centre of AB.
