In the given figure of current carrying solenoid the field strength is maximum at point A.
Here a solenoid is a soft iron core wound with wires. When current is passed through the solenoid it behaves like a magnet. The magnetic field is weak outside of the solenoid. The magnetic field strength is highest at point A and lowest at point C since the magnetic field is strongest where magnetic field lines are close together and weakest if magnetic field lines are far apart.
