Angle θ=45
The minor segment area = ASB
We have calculated
The sector of area OAB,
OAB=πr2360×θ
OAB=227×1360×(28)2×45cm2
OAB=308 cm2

Area of ΔOAB=12×OA×OB×sin45since, Area of ABC=12AB×AC×sinA
=12×28×28×12 cm2
=14×14×2 cm2
=196×1.414 cm2
=277.144 cm2
Now, we have to find the area of minor segment using following steps
Area of minor segment = Area of sector OAB - Area of OAB
