Detailed Solution

In the given figure, PQRS is a parallelogram in which QPO=35°  , SPO=40°  and ROS=105°  . Then the measure of RQS=   65 °  .
We are given a parallelogram PQRS.
Consider, ΔPQR   and ΔQPS   .
Here, PQR   and QPS   are alternate angles for transversal QS.
Use the property that the adjacent angles of parallelogram are supplementary.
PQR +QPS= 18 0 °
Let us find the value of PQR  .
PQR = 18 0 °   QPS                        …(i)
Here,
QPS=SPO+QPO = 30 + 45 = 75
Now substitute this value in (i).
PQR = 18 0 °    75 °     = 10 5 °
Let us now find the value of RQS  .
RQS = PQR PQS                 ( PQS = PQO   )   RQS= 10 5 °   4 0 °             =  65 °
Hence, the value of RQS is  65 °  .
