In the given figure, three resistors R1, R2,and R3, are connected in parallel.
When the heads of the resistance are connected to one point, and the tail of all resistances are connected to another point, resistances are said to be connected in parallel. In parallel, circuit voltage across the resistance remains the same, but the current is different for each branch. Therefore, a resistor or any other component in a parallel circuit can be easily connected or disconnected without affecting the other elements.
