Given that,

The price of kilo rice in 1990 was = Rs. 30

Price increased in 1995 = 15% of Rs. 30

= $\frac{15}{100}$ x 30

= $\frac{9}{2}$ = Rs. 4.5

The price of kilo rice in 1995 = Rs. 30 + Rs. 4.5 = Rs. 34.5

The price decreased in 2000 on one kilo rice = 20%

The final price of one kilo rice in 2000 = 34.5 X 20%

= 34.5 X $\frac{20}{100}$ = 34.5 x $\frac{1}{5}$= 6.9

One kilo rice in 2000 = 34.5 - 6.9

= Rs. 27.6

Price of 5kg of rice in 2000 = 27.6 x 5 = 138.
