Let C.P. of 1 liter milk be Re. 1 .

∴   C.P. of 1 liter of mixture = 100× 3 350 ×1 = 6 7  
By the rule of allegation, we have:
∴   Ratio of water and milk = 1 7 : 6 7 =1:6
