Bhagat Singh was a member of HSRA. Some revolutionary nationalists wanted to fight against Colonial rule and their exploitation. Bhagat Singh was one among them. For the revolution, Bhagat Singh and his Comrades founded the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association, (HSRA) in 1928. It was established at Delhi's Feroz Shah Kotla. The Comrades in the Hindustan socialist Republican Association assassinated a British police officer who caused the death of Lala Lajpat Rai (An Indian nationalist). The aim of the Comrades was not to kill but to make the foreign government back off and stop the exploitation. Due to this Revolutionary movement, Bhagat Singh was executed at the age of 23.
