At the day time sea and ground both get heated but sea gets heated slowly as compared to the ground. So due to that, the density of air at ground gets reduced due to increase in temperature as compared to sea so air flows from sea to the land and this process is known as sea breeze but at night time just opposite of this process occurs where air flows from land to sea this process is known as land breeze.
