Detailed Solution

A dog found in a human burial in Ropar.
Ropar, also known as Rupnagar, is a town in the eastern Punjab state of northwestern India.
Ropar is a Harappan site where pre-Harappan and Harappan culture remains have been discovered. The Ropar excavations have provided a detailed understanding of the Indus Valley civilization and the Harappa Culture. Ropar's structures were mostly made of stone and soil. Pottery, ornaments, copper axes, chert blades, terracotta blades, one inscribed steatite seal with typical Indus pictographs, several burials interred in oval pits, and a rectangular mud-brick chamber were discovered at the site. There is also evidence of a dog being buried beneath the human burial.
