The Great Depression began about 1929 and lasted until the mid-1930's. During this time, many parts of the world experienced a catastrophic decline in productivity, employment, income, and trade. The exact time and effect of stress vary from country to country. But in general, the districts and agricultural communities were the worst affected. This was because the decline in agricultural prices was greater and far greater than the prices of industrial property. Depression is caused by a combination of several factors. We have seen how weak the post-war world economy was. First, overproduction in agriculture remained a problem. This was exacerbated by the decline in agricultural prices. As prices fall and agricultural incomes decline, farmers try to increase productivity and bring a larger volume of product to the market to save their entire income. This worsened overcrowding, lowering prices even further. Farm products rotted due to a lack of buyers.
