Detailed Solution

During the October revolution, when socialism was embraced, the Bolsheviks rose to power. They were to blame for the 1917 Russian revolution. They were the ones who backed socialism. They abolished private property used for production. Lands belonging to wealthy and prominent people were taken. The titles used in the aristocracy were forbidden. The war had caused a crisis on all fronts in the country, whether social, political, or economic. As a result of the war, food was scarce in the country. Workers went on strike. All of this caused confusion and upheaval in the country, ultimately leading to the demise of the Tsarist autocracy. Following the 1917 revolution, Russia became a one-party state.
