In which section of the biogas plant does the organic matter decomposed?

The organic matter added to the biogas plant is decomposed in the digester. It is a sealed chamber where the slurry of organic matter is decomposed in the absence of oxygen. During the decomposition, gases like methane, carbon dioxide and hydrogen are produced which can be used as fuel.
