Detailed Solution

The trees pine and deodar are found in Montane forests. Coniferous trees, including pine, deodar, silver fir, spruce, and cedar, occur in temperate forests between 1500 and 3000 metres (also known as montane forests). These forests are mostly found on the southern slopes of the Himalayas, which are in southern and northeastern India. Temperate grasslands are frequent at higher altitudes. Alpine vegetation frequently replaces temperate forests and meadows at heights greater than 3,600 metres above sea level. In mountainous regions, the native vegetation adjusts to the drop in temperature that occurs with elevation. Because of this, the natural vegetation belts are arranged similarly from the tropics to the tundra region.
