Maize grows well in the old alluvial soil.
Soils are classified based on their age and the size of their grains or components. Alluvial soils can be divided into two groups based on their age: old alluvial (Bangar) and modern alluvial (Khadar). Compared to Khadar soil, Bangar soil contains a larger more significanttration of Kanker nodules. It is more fruitful than the bangar, has more fine particles, and is hence suitable for growing maise.
