Detailed Solution

The system of apartheid discriminates among the South Africans as restricted social contact between the races, segregating public facilities, and creating race-specific job categories.
During apartheid, individuals were split into four racial divisions and separated by legislation. Non-White people, mostly Black people in South Africa, were denied many rights under the system. According to the law, white people were authorised to be in certain areas. Black individuals required special passes or authorization to move outside their designated zone or work in areas reserved for Whites. Between 1960 and 1983, the government split mixed communities and forcibly evicted many black people off their land (the Bantustan Policy forcibly displaced South African blacks out of 'white' areas). Many more laws were passed, including those forbidding interracial marriage and black people from owning land or voting in white communities.
