Detailed Solution

The Non-Cooperation Movement was started in 1920. Mahatma Gandhi convinced other leaders of the Indian National Congress to start a Non-Cooperation Movement in support of the Khilafat movement. The Khilafat movement and Non-Cooperation came under the same umbrella. Gandhi's first large-scale political movement was the Non-Cooperation Movement. According to the resolution adopted by the Indian National Congress at its session in Calcutta, this movement was started, but it was ratified at its session in Nagpur in December 1920.
