Detailed Solution

The British parliamentary system of administration is being used in India. The British Parliamentary system of administration is the one that the Indian Constitution has chosen. Because of the experience with the parliamentary system and political institutions that had existed in India during colonial rule, this institutional architecture was chosen. The President is the head of state but not the executive branch under a parliamentary democracy. The President is the titular head of state; the Prime Minister is the actual executive head. In India, there are two houses of parliament. The Lok Sabha is the first or lower chamber, and its members are chosen by the Universal Adult Franchise. The Rajya Sabha, sometimes known as the second or upper house, is a permanent house whose members are chosen  by members of the legislature.
