India is not the only Democratic country where we see Inequality.
Democracies are the most craved form of government because they offer citizens a very egalitarian space. In a democracy, every citizen is supposed to be treated equally in the eyes of the law. However, that does not happen in reality. India is not the only country, which despite being a democracy, cannot offer equality to its citizens. Many countries worldwide are democratic, but Inequality is prevalent within them. For example, the USA is a democratic country. However, African-Americans have been subjected to discrimination for ages. They were discriminated against based on their race and colour. There were instances when they either had to sit at the back of the bus or get up when a white person wished to take their seat.
